HeaderPage title, Data Freshness badge, last-calculated timestamp
Data Status BannerBanner shown when data collection is delayed / partial / stale / failed / unknown
Filter BarTwo-row control set — Granularity / Period / Period Basis / Cost Basis (row 1) and Group by / Filter (row 2)

Filter Bar

The filter bar drives both the chart and the table. Reloading the page or sharing the URL preserves the active filters.

Row 1 — Time and basis

ControlDescription
GranularityDaily or Monthly. Daily is only enabled when the selected period spans at most 2 months — a tooltip explains the constraint when disabled
PeriodChoose a preset (This month (MTD) / Last 3/6/12/24 months) or a custom Month Range. Range is capped at 2 years
Period BasisRead-only indicator (Period Basis: Charge) — costs are aggregated by the time they were actually incurred
Cost BasisEffective Cost (default), Billed Cost, or List Cost
ℹ️
When the period range exceeds the 2-month daily limit while Daily is selected, the page automatically switches Granularity to Monthly.

Row 2 — Grouping and filtering

ControlDescription
Group byMulti-select popover. A bounded number of dimensions can be selected — the cap is shown in the selected / total Selected counter (e.g. 0/3 Selected). Selected items are shown as removable badges next to the popover with a reset (↻) button
Filter (right end)Dimension-by-dimension filter — opens a popover with a tab per dimension and a search input. The button shows the total count of selected filter values

Cost Trend Chart

A line / bar chart of cost over the selected Period at the chosen Granularity.

ElementDescription
Chart GroupingSelect which one of the Group-by dimensions drives the chart series. The list mirrors the Group-by selection on the filter bar
LegendPer-series legend at the top of the chart
Hover tooltipPer data point — series name, value, and period
OthersWhen more series exist than the chart can render, lower-ranked series are bundled into Others
Empty stateNo cost data for the selected period. (no data) or No cost data matches the active filters. Adjust the filters and try again. (filtered-empty)

Result Table

The table breaks down the same data as the chart by every Group-by dimension simultaneously, with a Total footer row.

UI elementDescription
SearchSearch rows by Name or ID
Original DataToggle — when on, raw numeric values are shown instead of abbreviated formats
Total rowA bottom footer row sums the column above
Amount headerPer-period column titled Amount, summed across all selected dimensions
Empty statesNo data with Nothing to display for the selected period. (no data) or No data matches the active filters. Adjust the filters and try again. (filtered-empty)
ℹ️
The Result Table’s columns reflect every dimension on Group by plus the per-period amount columns. Adjusting Group by reshapes the columns immediately.
